What is bending?
CNC bending is an economical method of producing 3D parts from
sheet metal. Bent sheet metal parts are usually manufactured using
pneumatic or hydraulic press brakes, in which a sheet of metal is
pressed between a punch and a die to bend it to the desired angle
or shape

Bending picture introduction
If we are CNC bending and the components need to be free of bend
marks, then we can use a protective plastic film. The membrane is
located between the bottom V-block and the assembly. It is ideal
when surface treatment of stainless steel parts is required
We can use our CNC press brakes to create curved sections by simply
making a series of small angle bends to simulate radii. The closer
the curve is, the smoother the curve. More bends take longer and
therefore cost more. It strikes a balance between form and time
spent on the client's budget. This flexibility is typical in sheet
metal processing.
The aluminum housing is made of 1.5mm 5251-H22 thick sheet metal.
Another great example of making sheet metal shapes by CNC bending.
No special tools are required, and parts can be programmed on the
machine in just a few minutes. Programs can be saved and recalled
when the customer needs the part.
