punch press is usually the most efficient and economical solution.
Sheet metal parts with finer, more complex features will be CNC
laser cut. Fiber lasers are used to cut thinner, more reflective
materials, while CO 2 lasers are better for cutting thicker gauge
materials when more power is required

your metal to create the desired form. Some sacrifices in this
process are accuracy and edge quality. Your parts definitely need
deburring. You also can't use it if your metal is brittle or hard
because the parts will break in the press. On the positive side,
while it takes time to set up and program the punch, it's easy to
make multiple parts once that's determined
